Walk for the President (and the Future Governor)
Today was the major Snohomish County GOP Walk for the President doorbelling day. A remarkable number of people showed up, especially considering that it was foggy and raining all day. A major reason for this much excitement was the fact that our next governor, Dino Rossi, was there. Dino is the best candidate the Republicans have ever put up in this state, and he’s forcing his opponent, Christine Greoire, to run essentially as a Republican. The race is incredibly tight, and Rossi could certainly use your help.

I’m surprised at how many Republicans, in Western Washington, at 9 am, in the rain, can actually be found in one spot.

And here’s the man who’s gotten all those people so excited. Bush has a tough road to hoe if he wants to win this state–but Rossi has a great shot, especially if Bush turns on the gas these next two weeks and starts pulling away… and possibly makes a campaign appearance.

And the ubiquitous “schmoozing politician” shot. The great thing about Rossi, though, is that I think he actually enjoys this stuff.
