Gregoiretoons

Larry Countryman, the Snohomish City Councilman who graced us with a similar cartoon a couple months ago, has now passed on a whole slew of Gregoiretoons that are worth checking out.

Classic.
These will stick around a long time. Posterity will remember these days with all the fondness of the camper for disaster laden camping trip with the family so many years before.

Let’s see…she won the recount under state law after Rossi repeatedly demanded she concede, seeking to become an illegitimate governor himself by his current logic…and this justifies calling her a liar, depicting her as satan, and a witch….
This isn’t political commentary, it’s on a par of a junior high school kid drawing mean pictures of his teacher….Grow up.

Gregoire probably knows that this is her last run in an elected office. If she is lucky (or unlucky - depending on a person’s view) she will probably try to go out in a blaze of glory. As her approval ratings remain low (for a democrat in WA State), as polls continually demonstrate she would lose in a new election, and (at best or worst - again, dependent on one’s view) she survives a full term as a (questionably elected) appointed Governor she will most certainly face an onslaught of negative publicity in the next Governor’s election.
Does she really wish she would have opted for a revote? I think that she was so driven by her own ambitions, that she would have stopped at nothing to obtain the mansion. In the end (whether she chooses to believe this or not), she has cost herself a decent reputation and furthering her own political career (perhaps to the national level).
I will never forget the day that I was walking in a crosswalk in a parking garage to work in the City of Olympia and a car came speeding at me. As I leapt out of the way, the car stopped. As I looked up, there was “then Attorney General” Gregoire looking back. I was stunned as I was nearly hit (as she was well exceeding the 20 MPH speed limit) by the AG. However, I was more stunned as (instead of apologizing) gave me a dirty look and sped off. This however is (sadly) consistent) with her behavior during the campaign as well as in her new role as acting-gov. She appears to have very little regard for the people and demonstrates the same “outta-my-way” type of attitude that she showed me one-on-one in a parking garage that she is showing this state.
In the end I feel sorry for this state, but I guess I also kind of feel sorry for her.

You Grow Up!
Any person with half a brain knows this election is flawed bad. If this was reveresd the democrats would be doing the same thing or worse. I do not agree with the cartoons, however explain why you people are crying foul when the building industry found fraud signatures on the affidavits turned in when compared to the signed checks. Why are you not trying to find out if people commited fraud and turned in false signings instead of bashing those that found the problem.
You can take this to the bank, that this election will be tossed out if the judge looks at the evidence and follows the law. If Gregoire wins through a fair election I have no problem with it. I do have a problem when democrats went to peoples doors looking for signatures and left without getting the document signed if the person voted for Rossi. Then we hear over and over “Count Every Vote”. That is only if for Gregoire.

I don’t get the “vote to pospone” one…
Otherwise, great toons!

flexnfs,
I has a similar encounter crossing a street in San Francisco once with Diane Feinstein. Liberals are all about rhetoric, when it come to applying that rhetoric to real situations, they suddenly

Ooops.
, they suddendly about face. Not surprised Gregoire would disobey a speed limit. In her mind, she’s above the law.

Who makes bumper stickers? In Mr. Rossi’s own words:
“EVERY LEGAL VOTE SHOULD COUNT”
I think that could help some confused people.

Those cartoons are all funny. Will you be adding as the election contest progresses?
How about that old one at Christmas time, the Gregrinch that stole christmas. http://www.gregoirethegrinch.com/
What about a cartoon with husband Mike (Vet, also on the AGO payroll) and her having a fight over Military ballots, maybe at Fairchild AFB.
